One of the perks of living in Central Florida would have to be the convenience of going to theme parks. Because of this, I frequently visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether it’s to walk around Hollywood Studios and ride the ‘Tower of Terror’ on a Tuesday evening or hopping around the different hotels such as Art of Animation and Pop Century, I never get bored while spending time at the happiest place on earth.
Walt Disney World has a vast amount of iconic picture locations ranging from Animal Kingdom’s ‘Tree of Life’ to the majestic ‘Cinderella’s Castle’ located at the Magic Kingdom. To me, photography is about finding a different angle to what appears as typical to the normal eye.
Here are a few of the photographs I have taken at the Walt Disney World Resort:
#1 – Disney’s Wedding Pavilion
The place where you exchange vows with your significant other is sure to be quite memorable. The Wedding Pavilion located right beside the Grand Floridian Resort is a beautiful venue that overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon as well as Cinderella’s Castle at the Magic Kingdom. It is a great place to be celebrating your happily ever after.
#2 – The Land
This pavilion is my go-to place whenever I want to get away from the Florida heat that dwells outside. The Land is filled with attractions as well as many places to eat. It is also home to one of the most popular rides at Epcot, Soarin’.
#3 – Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid
Ariel holds a special place in my heart. That is why ‘Under the Sea’ is one of my favorite attractions at the Magic Kingdom. On a recent trip with my 50mm lens, I was able to snap this photograph while the life-like animatronic sang the iconic melody ‘Part of Your World’ while holding one of her thingamabobs.
#4 – Boardwalk Resort
Ahhh, there’s nothing going around the Boardwalk Resort and taking pictures of its beach shore vibes. From playing carnival games and eating some ice cream at the Kitchen Sink to riding the ferry boat over toward the different Disney Parks, I truly love to visiting the Boardwalk Resort.
#5 – Wishes – Fireworks Spectacular
Disney is known for its majestic fireworks shows at the four different parks. Wishes is the nightly spectacular at the Magic Kingdom. Just as the name recalls, it’s about making your wishes come true. Although I love to be inside the park to witness the show, another of my favorite places to watch it from would have to be the beaches at the Polynesian Resort. You get a wide-angle view of the fireworks, which is so mesmerizing!
In a word, you can tell that I’ve traveled far and wide through the Walt Disney World Resort to take pictures. Usually, I’ll spend a few hours just going around and scouting out different areas where I could be photographing. I know for a fact that my adventure is not over yet! There’s still more to search for when it comes to finding the best picture-worthy spots!
